The Franklin County Texas A&M Club will be conducting a Bonfire and Tailgate fund raiser on Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Trey-Deuce Domino Saloon. The event is being called the Aggie Ring Wing Ding. A chicken wing cook off will culminate with judging at 6:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted to sample and eat the wings at 7 p.m., and the bonfire will be conducted at 8 p.m. For more information, see the Nov. 1 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
