The deadline to apply for food assistance in the Christmas For All program is Tuesday, Dec. 11. Applications are available only at the Community Food Bank of Franklin County, which is coordinating the food portion of the program. At press time Tuesday, 177 families, including 495 individuals had requested assistance with food for the holidays. That is more than three times the number of families and more than double the number of individuals requesting help at this time in 2011.
