Winners in the 31st annual Mount Vernon Elementary School Poster Contest were announced on Thursday, Dec. 6 at the First National Bank of Mount Vernon. Students were instructed to create a poster that illustrates what they believe is an “Old Fashioned Christmas.” For a listing of winners, see the Dec. 13 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
