Local food and children’s programs received $500 each from a special distribution of funds donated by James H. “Jimmy” St. Clair through the Harris and Irene St. Clair Endowment. Receiving the funds were the Christmas for All Angel Gifts through the Communities in Schools program accepted by Amy Ford, NETO’s Senior Citizen and Meals on Wheels programs accepted by executive director Beverly Logan, and The Community Food Bank of Franklin County accepted by volunteer Natalie Dooley.  The endowment was established to honor his parents and is administered by the Franklin County Historical Association. The FCHA’s Treasurer Mary Lou Mowery and Executive Dir. Elaine McFeely presented the checks in informal ceremonies Wednesday, Dec. 12.
