Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The 2013 Friends of Scouting campaign is underway in Franklin County, according to Mitch Gatlin, Senior District Executive for the White Oak District of Boy Scouts of America. Local adult volunteers with the Rotary Club of Mount Vernon are  approaching businesses and individuals to contribute to support the Boy Scouts of America’s local district and council.
