The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce conducted their annual membership meeting at the Century Room on Tuesday, Jan. 20 and elected officers for 2009.

The NETO Senior Citizens Meals-on-Wheels program will cook lunch the last Thursday of every month for the public on a donation basis. Their menu for Thursday, Jan. 29 will be chicken fajitas, Spanish rice, refried beans, chips and salsa, and apple cobbler.  See the Jan. 22 edition of the Optic-Herald for more details.
