An unnamed diver with U.S. Underwater Services, L.P. of Burleson spent a day and a half looking for the intake pipe opening for the low-water pass through on the dam for Lake Cypress Springs.
The pipe opening was located Friday, July 24, far from where records indicated it was located, according to David Weidman, general manager for the Franklin County Water District. The location was marked for future use in repairs to the low-water valve system inside the “Morning Glory” of the dam.
