The Shelter Agencies for Families in East Texas, Inc. (Safe-T) was recently awarded a $538,350 grant from the Texas Departent of Housing and Community Affairs.
The monies are part of federal stimulus funding and will help the regional nonprofit mitigate and prevent the effects of homelessness on both individuals and communities. For more information, see the August 13 edition of the Optic-Herald.
