The Texas Department of Public Safety, DPS, wants drivers and passengers to make the wise, and least expensive choice, of finding a sober ride to their destinations during the Labor Day weekend.
All available troopers will be on duty starting Friday, Sept. 4, through midnight Monday, Sept. 7. They will be looking for drunk drivers, speeders and seat belt violators.See the Sept. 3 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
