The U.S. Veterans Administration health-care system has lifted its six-year ban on new enrollments of some veterans who did not meet lower income levels. This decision would qualify about 266,000 more veterans for entry into the system. These “Priority Group 8” veterans are those with middle-income levels, and without service-connected health conditions. See the Sept. 10 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
