The City of Mount Vernon will begin its fourth quarter clean-up a bit early this year. Free waste disposal for city residents will be Saturday, Sept. 19 and Monday through Saturday, Sept. 21-26.
Franklin County Commissioners will conduct their clean-up effort Sept. 28-Oct. 3. See the Sept. 17 edition of the Optic-Herald for dates and times dumpsters will be available.
