Friends, family members and survivors will gather Tuesday to remember the eight who died as a result of a Mount Vernon school bus wreck on Sept. 29, 1959. The memorial service to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the school bus accident will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29 at the monument site on the school grounds.
