Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

First National Bank of Mount Vernon allocated their pledge to the United Way for the year in the amount of $4,000. The pledge brings the amount of pledges to date to $16,600. Sixteen area agencies were allocated for funding for next year by the Franklin County United Way. The goal of the organization for the year has been set at $85,000.
