Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

The City of Mount Vernon has adopted a three percent utility rate increase, and has imposed several other fee increases for those found tampering with their service connections. Utility increases will be reflected on customer’s bills received in October. Fee increases went into effect immediately. See more details in the Oct. 1 edition of the Optic-Herald.
