Members of the Franklin County Commissioners Court met with local organizers Tuesday night, Oct. 20 to discuss options to fund the construction of a new complex. Representatives for the baseball, softball, soccer and peewee football programs were present for the meeting. Those present were urged supporters of the local youth to organize a push for a bond issue to fund the construction of a new complex. See the Oct. 22 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
