The concrete slab for the new Dollar General store was completed last week and the erection of the steel has begun. A new 9,014 square foot store is to be constructed on an almost two acre site at the corner of Hwy. 37 and Yates St. The new store will include parking space for about 30 vehicles. Ray Garcia Construction of Flower Mound is the general contractor for the project. MJM Architects of Nashville, Tenn. designed the building. The project is scheduled for completion near year’s end. A privacy fence will shield the residential area just east of the location from the store.
