A local H1N1 clinic is underway in Franklin County. As of press time Tuesday, Dec. 8 more than 50 people have taken the vaccine. The Texas Department of State Health Services is offering the clinic and is administering vaccines from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout the month of December at the old Department of State Health Services building located at 502 E. Main in Mount Vernon.
