A coalition with other area organizations and taxing entities is needed if a swimming pool facility is going to be built for the Franklin County community as a whole. Members of the Mount Vernon Parks and Recreation Committee present for their Thursday, Jan. 14 meeting unanimously agreed to make presentations to interested groups, businesses and government agencies.
