Dr. Jean Latortue, a native of Haiti and doctor at East Texas Medical Center - Mount Vernon’s First Physicians Clinic, is planning a trip to Haiti to help victims of the massive earthquake that took a toll on the country last week. Supplies for the victims of the mass destruction are needed and members of the community are encouraged to help by donating items.
