Starvation feared cause of death for 21 head of cattleThis heifer was one of 21 unfortunate head of cattle that were found dead on a ranch in northwestern Franklin County. Lack of nutrition is believed to have caused the recent death of at least 21 head of cattle. The carcasses were found on property off CR NW1080 near the Franklin / Hopkins County line.See the Jan. 28 edition of the Optic-Herald for more details.
