The location for early voting in the General Primaries has been switched from the courthouse to the south lobby at the Franklin County Law Enforcement Center. In person early voting starts Tuesday, Feb. 16, after the Presidents Day holiday. Persons are cautioned to be certain of which party’s ballot they are requesting before signing the voter sign-in sheet. Voters who signed a petition to help an individual to become a candidate must vote in the party primary for which that candidate is listed. See the Feb. 11 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
