Print

Much needed repairs on the Hwy. 11 and Kansas City Southern Railroad crossing northwest of Winnsboro are planned in mid-April.
Construction is expected to begin at 6 a.m. Saturday April 17, and end 4 p.m. Monday April 19.  The Texas Department of Transportation is planning a detour which will allow traffic to safely bypass the rail construction work zone.
East bound Hwy. 11 through traffic will be rerouted north from Hwy. 11 at Pickton on FM 269 then east at FM 3105 then south at FM 3019 until it meets back again with Hwy. 11 past the construction site.
West bound Hwy. 11 through traffic will turn north from Hwy. 11 on FM 3019 then west on FM 3105 then south on FM 269 until it meets back up again with Hwy. 11 past the construction site.
