Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Corgan Associates of Dallas was chosen as the architect that will design the new elementary school for Mount Vernon during the regular Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, Jan. 6 at Mount Vernon High School.
Board members spent approximately three hours during the meeting in closed session to conduct an annual evaluation and review of Superintendent Rick Flanagan. Following the closed session, members voted 6-1 to renew Mr. Flanagan’s contract and to provide a $3,500 yearly salary increase. Bob Sehon made the dissenting vote.
