Sharon Stroman will compete in the Toastmasters Eastern Division Tall Tales and International Speech Contests. She will be presenting her contest entries at the Tuesday, April 27 meeting of the North East Texas Toastmasters. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. at David Beard’s Catfish King in Mount Pleasant.  Mrs. Stroman is taking the opportunity to practice her speeches one last time before the competition. The Eastern Division Tall Tales and International Speech Contests will be Saturday, May 1, in Texarkana.See the April 15 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
