County employees honored for service

Franklin County honored its employees in a celebration of County Government Week Friday, April 16. Nine employees were recognized with certificates for their years of service to the county. Chris Mars, chief deputy, and Dave Redar, deputy, both with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Sue Stevens, assistant librarian, and Ray Kerr, with the Pct. 3 road crew, were recognized for 15 years of service.
Bobbie J. Sanders, Pct. 1, Eddie Taylor, Pct. 2, Kent Bolin, Pct. 4, road crewmen, and Becky Johnson, with the auto registration division of the tax assessor/collector’s office, were recognized for 10 years of service to the county. Joe Shadbolt, Jr., dispatch sergeant with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, was honored for five years of service.  See the April 22 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
