A film crew was in Mount Vernon Monday and Tuesday filming street scenes, museum shots and doing interviews with local administrators, elected officials and preservationists. Debbi Head, Sr. Communications Specialist (left) and film crew Whitney Bishop and Curtis Craven, center and right - background, interviewed Teresia Wims, local Main St. Coordinator, at the Bankhead Hwy. Visitors Center. The filming will be edited down to be part of a 15 minute segment on heritage preservation to be presented at one of several THC banquets and /or ceremonies in February.  April Garner, with the commission’s Heritage Tourism Program, was a part of the crew.
