The deadline to sign up for the 38th annual Summer Horsemanship Clinic is Friday, May 14. The clinic is conducted annually by the Horse Program Assistants from Texas A&M  - College Station. They cover  a variety of basic and advanced horsemanship skills and maneuvers. This year’s clinic will be conducted at the Duke Arena. The new covered facility is located off CR SE4285, about seven miles south of Mount Vernon. See the May 13 edition of the Optic-Herald for more details.
