If you were to meet these two ladies on the street, you would not have a clue that either had ever been sick a day in their lives. The two women have both waged battles against cancer and come away victorious.
Not only have they shared the fight against a common enemy, but they are sisters, too. Elaine Adams and Linda Swinford are cancer survivors and are the honorary co-chairmen for the 2010 Franklin County Relay for Life event. See their story in the May 20 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
