The youth choir at the First Baptist Church in Mount Vernon will be providing “Fred’s World Famous Chili” as meals on Saturday and Sunday to fund their summer choir tour. Seating times will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24 and at noon on Sunday, Jan. 25.
The meals will be served in the activity building at the church at 419 S. Kaufman St. See the Jan. 22 edition of the Optic-Herald for more details.
