The Texas Department of Rural Affairs recently presented the City of Winfield with a a ceremonial check for $250,000 to recognize the community for its efforts in securing a grant with the Texas Community Development Block Grant. The money received from the grant will be used to replace water mains and lines on Cleveland St. in the city. On hand for the presentation were from left to right, Tammy Fulton with the TDRA, Raymond Vann with Raymond K. Vann and Associaties, LLC, Shquila Davis, City of Winfield Secretary, Lanny Buck with KSA Engineering, and Winfield Mayor John Walton.
