James Bell is working on his Eagle Scout project and is looking for a few, good volunteers to help.
He has undertaken the task of repairing, scraping, and painting the 40 plus posts that support the signs designating the pre-World War II historical homes around the community.
The Franklin County Historical Association is providing the paint and other materials, and Mr. Bell is providing the labor. See the June 17 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information on helping him reach his goal.
