Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputy Brantin Carr was presented with his stripes as a Corporal for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, July 13.
Corp. Carr has worked for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department since November 2002 as a deputy. Prior to his deputy position, he worked two years as a Lake Patrol Officer for the Franklin County Water District. He was a jailer at the Franklin County Jail for two years before becoming a Lake Patrol Officer. For more details, see the July 15 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
