As part of the 100th Anniversary Celebration, the Boy Scouts have created the National Hall of Leadership. The nomination period opens on Feb. 8, 2009, and closes on Feb. 8, 2010, the 100th Anniversary of Scouting.
Nominations should be submitted online in the form of a story that is 450 words or less, describing why the person is deserving of this one-time honor. See the Feb. 5 edition of the Optic-Herald for all the details.
