A survey on parks and recreation services for the City of Mount Vernon was mailed Friday, Feb 13.
The survey results will become part of the parks and recreation master plan for the city. It will then be used as a guide to plan for future parks, recreation and open spaces through the city’s Comprehensive Plan.
The completed form can either be dropped off in person at the Mount Vernon City Hall or mailed to P. O. Box 597, Mount Vernon, Tex. 75457. It must be received no later than Monday, March 2. See the Feb. 12 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
