County gets information on duties of election administrator

Print

Members of the Franklin County Commissioners Court questioned Titus County Elections Administrator Leonard Rockwell during their Monday, Feb. 9 meeting about the duties and the costs of operating an election administrators office.

Mr. Rockwell has held the position in Titus County since it was established in April 2005. The office in Titus County has a budget of between $162,000 and $165,000. Those figures include more than $40,000 that was recouped from other entities for conducting their elections. Included in those are school districts, cities, special utility districts, hospital districts, and water districts. Read the rest of the story in the Feb. 12 edition of the Optic-Herald.
