Members of the Mount Vernon High School Student Council will be hosts for a veterans recognition program from 2 to 3 p.m. in the school auditorium on Thursday, Nov. 11. A reception for veterans and their families will be conducted following the progam in the high school library. Stuart Richey, a Vietnam Veteran, will be the guest speaker at the event. Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend the event in honor of veterans in Franklin County and surrounding areas.
