Both the Franklin County Commissioners Court and the Mount Vernon School Board canceled their respective meetings on Monday, Jan. 10 due to the winter storm that hit the area. The Commissioners have rescheduled their meeting for Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 9 a.m. The school district has called a special meeting for Thursday, Jan. 20 to hear their auditor’s report and to conduct a long range planning session.
