Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Three members of Mount Vernon Boy Scout Troop 271, chartered by the First United Methodist Church, joined other Scouts for a week long trek to the Grand Canyon. The group left Dec. 17 after joining other members of the Scouting contingent in Bonham. The trip consisted of six boys and five adult Scout leaders.
