D. K. “Mike” Michaelson was appointed as full time Franklin County Auditor effective Feb. 1, 2011.
District Judges Robert Newsom and Scott McDowell signed the order of appointment late Tuesday, Jan 18, and it was filed with the Franklin County District Clerk Wednesday, Jan. 19. The appointment was made near the same hour that some members of the local commissioners court were, for a third time, attempting to rescind the court’s request for the appointment.
