Eighteen local and area community organizers met impromptu at the City Hall Friday, Feb. 6. The group discussed the feasibility of some type of community gardening program in the city.
Anyone interested in either adopting an area for use or in providing an area for use by others is needed. Those with interest are asked to call the Mount Vernon City Hall at 903-537-2252. Callers are asked to leave their name, phone number and/or other contact information.
