Members of Asplundh Tree Service aided the City of Mount Vernon in trimming the top out of a dead tree on the plaza on Wednesday, Feb. 2. The crew helped the city after having trimmed many trees in the area for SWEPCO. The city plans to remove the remainder of the tree, which has grown over the World War II and Korean War monument.
