The deadline to return completed survey forms to help city leaders decide on future parks and recreation wants and needs is Monday, March 2.
Just over five percent response to the survey is reported. According to city staff, 62 surveys had been returned as of Tuesday morning, Feb. 24. More than 1200 surveys were mailed Friday, Feb. 13 to those in and around the City of Mount Vernon who receive city water service. See the Feb. 26 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
