Constable Randy Green, at right, offered to buy lunch for Allen Mullins, a.k.a. Captain America, at the Dairy Bar, but Mr. Mullins would only accept a cold drink while he explained his mission to raise support for homeless veterans. Mr. Mullins is crisscrossing America to bring awareness to the plight of homeless veterans.
“Our veterans do not get the respect they deserve,” Mr. Mullins said. “Verbal support is not enough. Just think what we could do if everyone in America just gave $1,” he added.
