A seminar on the city’s permitting process is set for 6:30 p.m. tonight Thursday, March 10 in the council chambers of the Mount Vernon City Hall. The seminar will be lead by members of the Bureau Veritas staff. “This  seminar is something we hope will help both contractors and home owners to be better informed of the process,” Lee Elliott, city administrator, said.
