Representatives from the Stop the Tarsands Oil Pipelines (STOP) group met last week with key decision makers in Washington, D.C. regarding TransCanada’s proposed Keystone XL tar sands pipeline. STOP is made up of landowners and concerned citizens from across East Texas. They joined landowners from other states in Keystone XL’s proposed right-of-way to take their message to Congress.
