Franklin County was ranked the 12th healthiest county in the State of Texas. The listing was in the annual County Health Rankings recently released by the University of Wisconsin’s Population Health Institute, in conjunction with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Williamson County, in central Texas, is home to the healthiest residents, and Marion County was the least healthiest. “Where we live matters to our health. The health of a community depends on many different factors, including quality of health care, individual behavior, education and jobs, and the environment,” Dr. Risa Lavizzo-Mourey, president and CEO of the Robert Wood John Foundation, said.
