Franklin County Sheriff Paul Fletcher came to the Commissioners Court Monday seeking funding relief and ideas to solve the issues caused by an increasing number of stray livestock.
He asked that the court approve payment of $2,559 for the feeding and care of 18 donkeys for the past 15 days. “My department’s budget is getting devastated with this,” Sheriff Fletcher said.
