Mixed results from local code enforcement efforts were reported by residents to council members at their February meeting. Members are hoping for improved results by offering local citizens a way to report code violations through the city’s website.
Code Complaints may also be sent by e-mail or postal mail. They can be sent to the attention of the code compliance officer Jackie Cates at P. O. Box 597, Mount Vernon, Tex. 75457 or e-mailed to him at code(at)comvtx.com. All complaints should be made in writing.
