Isabell Herrera was the first place winner in the bowling event at the Mission Manor Nursing Home Senior Olympics in February.
The event were was a team sport where the residents on the opposite wings of the building competed against each other in sports such as bowling, volleyball, basketball and golf. Trent Fountain, home activity director, was coordinator for the event and each resident was assisted by a member of the nursing home staff.
