Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

A power line at Mount Vernon ISD was damaged on Thursday, June 16 around 2 p.m.  while personnel were cutting down trees. The damage caused brownouts throughout town and an outage at the school. The power was restored and no summer classes were cancelled.
